CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR SEASON 10 WORLD SERIES CHAMPIONS LOUISVILLE SLUGGERS!!!

Louisville Sluggers finished the regular season with a 101-61 record, AL South crown and secured the 2nd seed in the AL playoffs. The engine that drove this team all season long was their line up led by All Time great Magglio Javier, they finished 3rd in Hunter with 1011 RS and .292 team BA. The pitching staff finished ranked 7th in Hunter with a 4.50 team ERA and the defense finished ranked 9th with .983 FPct.

To started their playoff rampage Louisville swept the 6th seeded Washington D.C. Generals in the ALDS. In the ALCS the uprising Atlanta Cheese Grits did not stand a chance either, the Sluggers took that series 4-1 and were back in the World Series for the 2nd straight year. After losing game 7 of the WS last seasons Magglio and company knew this chance may be the last they would get. In the World Series the Sluggers did not waste any time winning game 1 and never looked back. They defeated the 6th seed Cleveland MooseDwag 4-2 to win their 1st Championship in franchise history.

The entire franchise knew it was Magglio's last season as a Slugger and they were not going to let him leave without a Sluggers Championship ring. This was the Sluggers time to shine and forever they will remain Hunter's season 10 World Series Champions!!!
